Richard and Bonnie recently retired from their respective careers and have enjoyed having more time to prepare for the Arkansas Country Classic. The 2013 event was their most successful ever and they plan to produce an equally great event in 2021. Retirement has also given them the opportunity to become more active in other activities such as camping and boating. They now have nine grandchildren that also keep them quite busy.
The Arkansas Country Classic is now in its 21st year of production. Richard and Bonnie are extremely pleased with the growth of the event and they strive to produce an event that is fun, affordable and family friendly. They truly appreciate the support and participation of all those that have attended and competed in past events. They would also like to thank the Little Rock Country/Western Dance Community for their continued support and assistance.
Bonnie
and Richard especially enjoy the camaraderie with others at
dance events; socializing and having fun. Bonnie says "The
best thing a person could say after attending the Arkansas
Country Classic is that they had a great time". She
says that she feels great about being part of the American
Country Dance Association dance circuit. "American Country
Dance Association will continue to grow because it's a great
value and it's FUN!!!!"
